Simmer brings together three experienced artists whose work spans curation, moving image, sound, heritage and learning. Their collaboration is rooted in the potential of collections as spaces in which communities can creatively and critically reinterpret shared histories. As CUSP residents at SeeSaw (Manchester) from July - January 2026, they aim to develop a collective practice centred around animating archives and collections to inspire intergenerational and cross-cultural dialogue.
